Vista Recovery System is a scam (beware)

Vista Recovery system is not an security system, it is actually a virus. This virus was designed to lure unsuspecting internet users into purchasing their services, for virus removal. They set up a phoney screen displaying potential threats to your computer, and will also hide your files in the startup menu giving off the illusion that your files have been deleted. If this happens do not purchase anything, they will take your money, and your computer will still be infected.

Unfortunately this virus can not be uninstalled manually, unless you want to delete all of your files. More than likely you will have to find a security program that will get rid of the virus for you. However before purchasing any type of software, be sure to do a thorough research. I have quickly discovered that there are many people offering different types of software, which in fact happen to be scams. Look for review forums to help with your decision in purchasing software. There have been a couple of different systems I have used that I do like which are McAfee, Norton AntiVirus, and Microsoft Security Essentials. However I still encourage everyone to do their own research to find which system would best work for them.
